Winter Storm Help & Resources

We're here to help

The HCA Healthcare Hope Fund stands ready to assist members of our HCA Healthcare family impacted by the winter storms and extreme low temperatures. If you or a colleague you know was impacted by the winter storms and needs assistance, visit our Apply for Help page to learn more and click the Apply for Help button to submit your application for assistance today.

Submit an application with emergency needs first, such as temporary housing if home is unsafe or you have vulnerable household needs. Additional recovery assistance may include assistance with damage to home or car as a result of the disaster and can be provided after initial emergency assistance.

Helpful resources:

We are also providing below additional resources for our colleagues who may need assistance. If you have suggestions for additional resources to add to this list, please email us at hopefund@hcahealthcare.com.

The Central Texas Food Bank

The Central Texas Food Bank can provide food to families in need, but may at times be closed due to the weather. If you are in need of food and the food bank is closed, you are encouraged to dial 2-1-1 or visit 211texas.org to get in touch with Texas Health and Human Services. The service should be able to connect those in need with a wide range of services including food, shelter, and mental health services.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross works to meet the immediate disaster-caused needs of individuals, families and communities so people can have clean water, safe shelter and hot meals when they need them most. Find your local chapter online.

FEMA

The Federal Emergency Management Agency provides financial and direct services to eligible individuals and households affected by a disaster, who have uninsured or underinsured necessary expenses and serious needs. To learn more, visit their website.

Ready.gov

Ready.gov is a resource for information about disaster preparedness and response. Learn about emergency response and how to stay safe on their winter weather page.
